from top schools, along with major gaming project and actual hotel or casino
operating experience. Shannon Okada, JD, MBA and
Suzanne R. Mellen, CRE, MAI, FRICS direct our division.
Okada worked as an attorney and gained operational experience at the Paris
Casino Hotel in Las Vegas. He has expertise in the evaluation of national and
international gaming markets. Mellen has been evaluating lodging, gaming and
associated real estate for more than 30 years. She has authored numerous
articles and is a frequent lecturer and expert witness on the valuation of
gaming facilities and hotels.
